FLAT TOP MICROFINISHING FILM ABRASIVES

These 4” FLAT-TOP ABRASIVES come already MOUNTED on their respective FLAT TOP discs. 

Available in individual grades 60, 30, 15 and 9 Micron (μ) or a COMBO SET of 4.
4" (100mm) diameter only.

Note: Microfinishing Film Abrasives perform best when mounted with Cushion Pads; that is currently how they are offered.

Great for SHAPING polymer clay (plastics) and PREPARING metals for a high polish. Leaves a very fine finish at the last step (9 micron). It cuts fast and gives precise, consistent finishes. Follow up with a FLAT TOP FELT DISC and COMPOUND for a quick and easy polish.

PROJECT IDEAS:
JEWELRY: Sand and prepare polymer clay pieces for a high polish. Also sands soft metals, castings, etc.

AUTOMOTIVE: Fine sanding of painted or primed spots, metallic powertrain components (gears, cams, valves, etc…)

WOODWORKING: Works great for smoothing out and sanding wood. Sharpen & hone chisels, turning tools and carving tools.

Material description:
High-strength polyester film backing coated with premium, micron-graded mineral particles that are electrostatically oriented for greater cutting efficiency, and resin-bonded for increased durability.
